Our formations
You can choose to form your company in the following ways:
- Incorporation to order – this would be for a company where the owners have already decided on its name and needs to be incorporated from ‘scratch’. This service includes ensuring the name was available, advising on the suitability of the name, completing the relevant forms and submitting these to Companies House.
- Off the shelf companies – these companies would be ‘ready-made’ i.e. already incorporated with all of the incorporation work completed. Customers could choose either to keep the name of this ready-made company or change it as they see fit.
- Dormant companies – this would be for when a company was required to be incorporated but would not trade initially. This could be for purposes of name protection or simply getting a company ready for when trading starts. For dormant companies, we also offer an upgrade service to change its status to ‘trading’.
Dormant company
For dormant companies, WestOne Business Services Limited can act as the director and company secretary for the dormant company or the customer can select their own named people to do this.
An upgrade services is also available for dormant companies to have their status changed to ‘trading’. An upgrade fee is applicable for this service.
For all dormant companies where WestOne Business Services Limited acts as the director and company secretary, there will be an annual maintenance fee to reflect the submissions that will need to be made to Companies House.
